God of war Kratos speech.
"What can I say to you?
I remember how it felt to take that throne. All that it meant and all that it did not.

I ran away from my dad’s side of the family for 14 years, i chose. I started my redemption by spending time with my uncle on his last birthday before he passed months later. My cousin told me him and his family searched for me. I hope one day I can forgive myself.

After beating the DLC this speech really spoke to my soul. I’ve come far in my journey, and I look back to see how far I’ve come as a person. However my past holds a lot of shame and regret, but I’m learning to forgive myself, and to speak life into that old version of me without hating who I was. I simply didn’t know better, and I hurt the people I loved the most, and I have to live with that. So everyday I wake up, I am thankful for another chance to make things right.

This genuinely helped me. The lines "You have always been more than what others saw. You are more than that." were the main reason. It improved my self-esteem when I began saying this to myself, and i'm working on my confidence again. I may even become a christian, as I go to church every Wednesday and Sunday. Thank you.
