The thing i ear the most when i say i shoot with old manual lenses is " but ... you dont have Autofocus, how can you do sharp images dude ?!" Well with this experiment, i know have more than 80 autofocus lenses. with the help of the Smart Teacart Pro Adapter.

They are really beautiful - very well done.
How did you achieve the distortion on the second picture with the green pine trees?

Do you have any vid showcasing the video AF of this setup?
I honestly am so excited right now. I could adapt my takumar 50 to the sony alpha?
How fast would the focus be? how accurate?
I smile like it's christmas!

I really enjoy your vids and demos. I love the real test on the lens on the field not on bricks and leaves or back of houses. What about super wide angles vintage lens. And Yashinon 5cm 50mm 2. Very much thanks.

I am amazed! Since I can't afford a Petzval lense, I search for a long time unsuccessfully for materials, to build one. Sofar I found things like russian movie projector lenses, with allmost zero petzval effect. My idea: The petzval lenses should have been simple lenses a lens made of only one sort of glass with no coating. That leads to my question: If I get my hands on for example, a magnifyer glas of the 19th century, and manage, to install it into the device You used, is this worth checking? Or had the petzvals allready been much too sophisticated, to come "close(r)? Needless to say I "come with a Lomography mindset" no expertation for perfection;-)

It's not 120 years old yet. Contessa-Nettel formed in 1919 after the merger of Contessa Camerawerke and Nettel Camerawerk. So this lens was made between 1919 and 1926 (Contessa-Nettel and other companies merged in 1926 to form Zeiss-Ikon).

On their website they say it only works with the sony a7ii and a7rii. I thought you use 7s or 7sii. Can i ignore the warning on techpros website?

Hi Mathieu, do you know any adapter that can put EF mount lenses on FD mount body? Is there a way to do that? Really wanna try some manual aperture lens other than FD lens on my Canon A1 body.
