I loved the storyline featuring Bobby and Athena. It showed the Love and respect they have for each other. I truly loved the way 911 shows the development of the characters over the excitement of fires and the police.

The talk between Athena and Tanya's sis was my favorite scene. So heartwarming that the sister knows now Tanyas impact on someone also an earlier scene shows that Tanya's sis blamed herself I like to think of this scene as the end of that self blame.

Like Athena said. Hiding in plain sight. and what was worse and sad at the same time is the dad knew what happened with Tanya but was lied to by his son and thus like many parents protected him. You can just see the shock on the dad's face when the other cop shows him the box relating to 6 girls that is son had killed after Tanya as well as a bit of sadness on Athena and the other cop faces when they find out that the dad really didn't know the whole truth about that night and know that the dad was not a bad person but that doesn't stop the dad actions from covering for his son. While the dad is not innocent he does have to live with the guilt that at least 6 more girls were killed by his son that he could have stopped by telling everyone what really happened to Tanya. As well as now he knows just what type of creature his son is and what he has done when he thought that what happened with Tanya was a accident but now the dad knows the truth and his son has killed other girls and that will haunt him forever since he protected his son which while many parents will do that he protected a serial killer and thus now has to face the consequence of the families of the young girls that his son killed

If my kid ever did something like that I would turn them in right away I can't imagen putting a family through what the Kingstons went through.

I can't sympathize with Tanya's sister because she lied for all those decades, even after her parents were dead, because she didn't want to admit that she snuck out to a party that night and that she allowed Tanya to come along just to keep Tanya from telling their parents. It was such a *selfish* decision and the main reason that the case went unsolved for so long. Nobody was going to prosecute her for being a teenage girl who snuck out to go to a party. But she made all those other murders possible because nobody knew to suspect Junior since he never actually broke into the Kingston house. The police back then would have had a pool of suspects had they known the truth that Tanya was taken at the party, not from her own bedroom.

Honestly, I felt like Reggie Franklin Jr. is the overarching villain of '9-1-1' because, if it wasn't for him, Athena would never become a cop.
