Nice, as not all of us can buy the newest and top tier GPU's, thanks for your effort, well done!

I just scored mine from a local marketplace for 69 bucks.
The seller didn't know what it was 😂.

1440p starts leaning on gpu. 1080 is really faster cpu will prevail (to a point). It’s why you see even old cpus like my old 6700k do 4k and the fps is the same as a newer chip. It’s weird.

my main pc has a 4090 but my second pc still runs the 2080 super and many times i just only game on the second rig (1080p ultrawide monitor) It works like a charm

I bought the 2080 super new a few years ago with the ryzen 9 3900x. I run all ultra settings on COD and it looks and performs good. Waiting for the 9000 series to do a new build.

I’d say spend 120 more and go rtx 3080. I got mine 375$ on eBay 2-3 months ago. Now they are 425$ or so. Big improvement over the 2080 super.

I know this vid is a year old but I am looking at a used gaming laptop. I haven't gamed since the 90's, Wolf3d was my first game. The laptop I am looking at has a i7 10750H cpu and RTX 2080 super gpu. The display is 1080P up to 240hz. It is a Lenovo Legion 7 15IMH05. I like FPS and don't care if the settings are max, just miss blowing stuff up and competing against others. Does the laptop version do as well as the desktop ? I know some laptop cards are detuned versions and not as fast due to thermals. Any advice would be great. Found the laptop for $500 but not ready to buy unless it will be decent. A Voodoo 3 card was my last gaming gpu.

Excellent 1080p card. Think of it as a newer gen 1080ti with DLSS, but with less VRAM (which I don't think will be a problem in 1080p, except for a few select games). Can play eSport games with high fps and AAA games with respectable frames. It's a pretty decent card.

Would you have any recommended settings for escape from tarkov on 1440p. I was hoping to get a steady 90 to 100 fps

which card would you say has a better price to performance ratio, 2080 ti or 2080 super. I am going to buy a second hand one very soon and not sure which is more worth it

I found a dell oem 2080 super blower style on eBay going for 220$ But im skeptical because I’ve read they are problematic. I only want it to future proof my pc a bit and play esports titles. Will the card be too loud? And will it be too much of a bottleneck for a r5 3600?

I have a 2080 super, i9-9900k, play at 1440p on 165hz monitor PG279Q (I know I'm old school). I'd say still a solid GPU if you don't normally play AAA games and you mostly play FPS or MOBA it's not a big deal. I played BM Wukong and beat the game 4 times at medium settings. My 5 years old unit is still rockin' 😀

I think it’s a old card but I wouldn’t know that’s why am asking for help am scared to buy it thinking it’s not gonna support or run the new games which are getting heavier by a lot

i watched this because i have a rtx 2080Super running with your exact same specs and it does pretty good until i play Helldivers 2 at high setting with 1440P. then it struggles alot. my next upgrade will be to a 5070 or the 4000 series cards just don't impress me

I got two deals. RX6700 XT & RTX 2080 Super, both come with the same price. 280$ plus minus. Which one should I get? I am not a hardcore gamer, playing every new game launched.
