Inner lights needs to be replaced whole assembly in case that LED bulb goes bad. Back plexi glass is glued together with a corpse.

You're so lucky to get the 2.0 TDI on the Tiguan.. anyways I'm glad I saw this video because I'm looking to change out the reverse LED and turn signal light. Any ideas how to replace the bulbs?

i just did it today. there are 3 sockets: two bayonets, one wedge. There is a single filament bayonet bulb, a small wedge bulb. The second bayonet socket is empty. No way to install a bulb in it, there is no space, and no matter what, it never turns the light, never produce voltage. the small wedge bulb is the marker light. the single-filament bulb appears to do everything. marker, turn and stop. This is european car, and the turn signal should be yellow. But on this car the stop and turn is the same bulb and is RED, USA standard. Can someone explain what is the third socket doing, please. I tried. Installed a light bulb, measured voltage, nothing happened. The yellow lenses appear like there is no bulb behind them.
