How timely for me to listen to this. Thank you Dr. Jill. I'm scheduled for my first consult in September to review my genetic tensing results with Megan Ross ND who is on Bob Miller's team and trained by him to help with MCAS. He and his team were recommended by a friend who found help with my suspected MCAS. I wasn't sure how he worked and his level of understanding of MCAS, but your podcast helped greatly with that. My major MCAS symptom has been COVID tongue with burning and ulcers since Oct 23. The more I learn about MCAS I'm realizing I have many other symptoms of it and the burning tongue may be one of them. God Bless! Larry

Wow, thank you so much Dr. Jill for interviewing Bob Miller. I learned so much from both of you both for myself and my patients! I actually called a patient to correct something I told her yesterday as both me and her oncologist were/are suspecting she is having a histamine response after her Covid shot and chemo! Thank you from all of us!

Great video Dr do you think is the biggest activator, the environmental issues or the genetics decreasing DAO activity to suppress histamine. Have you had any experience with cyclical vomiting syndrome in perimenopause being exacerbated by mast cell activation and low progesterone (seeing as hormone also seem to modulate this activity?).

I have EOE and histamine and oxalate issues. I never had these before. I’ve seen so much MDs and a few naturopathic practitioners, and none of them could figure out what to do. I wish I could heal myself.

How do we heal if we have both an oxalate and histamine sensitivities plus leaky gut?

I notice that histadine is sold as a supplement! I have terrible histamine issues and I noticed that the elemental diet I am currently on (because I react to all foods) contains histadine. :-( Every food I eat contains histadine. I was just reading that it is an amino acid that is helpful. Does this mean that I probably shouldn't be consuming it when I have terrible histamine reactions to everything? I am lost at what to eat now. The only foods I have left that I can somewhat tolerate all contain histadine. My allergies are through the roof this month so I don't know what to eat anymore. I have nothing left. I really wish they made an elemental diet that was suited for people with MCAS and histamine issues. That would be so wonderful if they did!
