For the third build, use nourish. It boosts your energy multiplier, grants all weapons viral damage and helps exponentially more. Everyone gets energy boosts and viral damage.

Nice build! I do almost the exact same thing except I subsume Nourish for infinite energy and viral on my weapons and then build for pure heat and crit to one shot frozen enemies with biting frost.

I’m not a level capper by any means but I’ve been having a lot of fun with an umbral frost build using Nourish as a helminth ability and Molt Reconstruct + Arcane Blessing, adaptation, and a lot of armor to health tank and spam abilities to heal up quickly while freezing, armor stripping, and red critting

I remember back in the days you were able to make snow globe way bigger by casting it over again I think it was up to 3x bigger

Thank you for this coming back from a LONG break and was trying to figure out which way I would go with my Frost since his build is so outdated from when I last played.

Also thank you for confirming this armor strip is perm cause I got into a debate with a Legendary 2 player about it being permanent now and was swiftly discredited because I’m MR21 yet was running a Range Pwr Eff build that left his 4 with literally 1s of duration of CC but of course armor still stays stripped. Like my guy I run Frost non stop how are you going to tell me when I just got out of a mission armor stripping everything lol. I notice a ton of high MR players spew nonsense into Q&A about certain status effects mostly “bleed” and will not accept that they don’t understand how a few things work in this game. It’s funny but irritating at the same time lol.

Do these builds change substantially following the recent buffs to Icy Avalanche (Overguard) and cold/puncture damage?

DE: lets make a defensive frame, we give him a globe he can use to protect stuff.
WF players: globe goes bonkers, keep smacking enemies into walls or other enemies lol.
