Man, I love seeing people play these old CNC games. So much nostalgia.

If you have the means, I highly recommend the Mental Omega mod for Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge. It's community based and expands pretty much every facet of the game, from faction choice (Now 9 playable sub-factions, each with several unique units) to campaigns (unique storylines and missions for each faction, though not all of them are complete, IIRC) to music (brilliant custom tracks for everything, 10+ per faction). It completely revamps gameplay. They've got multiplayer through CNCNet that works seamlessly and is easy to use, and generally has a few people online at any one time. Might want to read some of the documentation first though, as the flood of new units can be somewhat confusing.
Requires nothing more than the downloaded installer and a working copy of Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge(works with most installations, including CNC: The First Decade).

I remember playing this game when I was much younger. It was so damn good for it's time, hell, it still holds up.

It's funny, Tiberian Sun was also my very first PC online multiplayer game.  My friends and I used to play hours on end for a couple years.  I loved this game.

I personally really like Tib Sun. While this game is not necessarily mechanically advanced (with many concepts being far inferior to a much older Dune 2... except for the selection box) it had an unforgettable atmosphere. Frankly, when it first came out, it shocked me that an RTS can be so wonderfully grim and serious while simultaneously being a sci-fi title. Great game that I sometimes even come back to.

Also, I think C&C3 aged just fine in regards to graphics. Still looks fine to me :3

Best game ever! First online game I played growing up on 33kpbs modem. The buggyness in the video is you right clicking instead of left clicking to move the jumpjet trooper. As history tells it, it is the Kane from the bible. After he killed Able he went to the land of Nod. Best Nostalgia so far. My personal favorite game.

I still love this game to this day, hands down one of my favorite RTS's right next to the original Starcraft.  Really a shame to have seen what EA did with the series.  If I could, id buy it up and restart it =p

Tiberium was first found in a meteor that landed near the Tiber river where Kane found it.  The original Command and Conquer is still one of my favorite games of all time. I only ever got to play the nod Campaign, My Brother lost the GDI disk.

Multiplayer never surprised me because I used to think the ai was like a whole bank of people playng the bad guys or something

Error in title. The game is actually called Tiberian, contrary to popular belief. Tiberium is the crystal stuff you use as a resource.

I still have a skirmish game that's still going

I started the game 3 years ago and I still can't get past the AIs defenses

Wait...isnt it Tiberiun Sun as opposed to Tiberium...does it not say it on the box?
This brings me back to the mysterious time of childhood missheard arguments.
