if they are breaking your bed you can also position yourself so that when you respawn you teleport through their line of sight and reset the block breaking

This happens because the game teleports you from where you are (being dead) to the spawn block. However before the teleportation the game puts you back into survival mode, which allows you to hit players. Therefore, it will give you about 3-5 frames (depending on ping) to hit the player while being teleported.

It reminds of sword swapping from hypixel skyblock and I also think the rod glitch works similarly

lol I also found this glitch along time ago on zeqa in bedrock edition... when u die in bedfight before u respawn and are spectating if u spammed clicks on them u would get 1 hit as u respawned no matter how far away u spawned...

doubt it still works tho

This is an old bug and you can do this on most of the bedfights servers
