Randall Keith "Randy" Orton[5][6] (born April 1, 1980)[7][8] is an American professional wrestler and actor. He is signed to WWE, where he is a 12-time world champion, having held the WWE (World Heavyweight) Championship eight times and the World Heavyweight Championship four times; he was also the final holder of the World Heavyweight Championship before it was unified with the WWE Championship to create the current WWE World Heavyweight Championship.[9]

Orton is a third-generation professional wrestler; his grandfather Bob Orton, Sr., his father "Cowboy" Bob Orton, and his uncle Barry Orton all competed in the professional wrestling business.[7][10] Before being promoted to the main World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) roster, Orton trained in and wrestled for Mid-Missouri Wrestling Association-Southern Illinois Conference Wrestling for a month. He was then sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), where he held the OVW Hardcore Championship twice.[11]

Phillip Jack "Phil" Brooks[1] (born October 26, 1978),[2] better known by the ring name CM Punk, is an American mixed martial artist, comic book writer and retired professional wrestler. He is best known for his time in WWE, where he is the longest-reigning WWE Champion of the "modern era" (since Hulk Hogan's 1,474 day reign ended in 1988), having held the title for 434 days from November 20, 2011 to January 27, 2013. His reign is officially recognized as the sixth longest of all time.[6][7]

Punk won multiple world championships during his 15-year wrestling career, including the ROH World Championship and ECW Championship once each, WWE's World Heavyweight Championship three times, and the WWE Championship twice. He won the World Tag Team Championship (with Kofi Kingston) and the Intercontinental Championship, making him the 19th WWE Triple Crown Champion and the fastest man in WWE history to achieve this feat, in 203 days.[8] He was a two-time ROH World Tag Team Champion (with Colt Cabana as part of the The Second City Saints). Punk also won the 2008 and 2009 Money in the Bank ladder matches (the only wrestler to win the match twice),[9] and the 2011 Superstar of the Year Slammy Award in WWE.

The game is the latest in the WWE 2K series and released on October 28, 2014 North America and October 31, 2014 in Europe for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and was released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 18, 2014 in North America and November 21, 2014 in Europe. The cover features John Cena and is the first in the series to use the WWE logo introduced in 2014. On April 21, 2015, WWE announced an upcoming Windows PC release April 28 2015.[2] This will be the first in the WWE 2K series to be released on PC as well as the first WWE game to be released on PC since 2002's WWE RAW.
