With my bad back the hanging raise and especially that rolling out movement would put me out of action for days! I agree they are not the most fun but for some poor old sods it's all we can manage. Loving the content guys!

Instead of a side plank, get on a Roman chair sideways and hinge up and down instead. Repeat on other side. Steady controlled movement is key, not just staying in the same position.

Hanging leg raises also don’t train abs. A good clue is that they are called “leg raises”.

The plank has no athletic function as far as I know. But I'm stupid. You only get good at the plank. Not the transfer of power from the legs to the upper body

I think doing the plank and other exercises related to that are good, but like a minute or two max. More than that and its just stupid.
