The automotive industry is full of inconsistencies, like… biggest MINI. Well, that’s what this #MINI #Countryman has been since it arrived for 2011 as the brand’s first SUV. Well, time flies when you’re having fun driving a MINI, so a third generation is already arriving. Let’s find out if that still means big fun for this now not quite so small crossover. #minicountryman

Quirky for quirky’s sake, love it or hate it, they’re trying to keep it “Mini” rather than over-designing it by trying to make it stand out. It’s almost understated on the outside but still recognizable.

I've enjoyed watching the retro Motorweek episodes. That "Mini" is huge compared to the average car in the retro episodes. It's crazy how big cars have gotten.

I just got one and it is a lot of fun and never mistaken for any other brand. I would add that it now has an option for a tow hitch and can tow 3500lbs. I have gotten amazing mileage on mostly highway over 36mpg on a 134 mile trip. While it is the largest Mini it is the smallest SUV for most manufacturers, aka, BMW, AUDI, Porsche, Mercedes and so on. If you need more space and capability but still want something unique it’s a great choice.

This thing is huge. We drove the EV version and said no thanks based on price and size. Still built beautifully

The all electric version has been on sale in North American for months; how did they not test it?! It’s the best version of this vehicle.

I'm very happy to see a few cars still offered in green!
Those wheels look stunning. I wonder if there's
enough room under that cargo floor for a spare tire.

No manual transmission mini is the same as an automatic Miata.

No oval headlamps. Not a mini anymore. Generic car now.

Not enough MINI and too much BMW. It's not really a MINI anymore. Over last month I had an '25 S All4 model for 1k miles while my '20 Clubman S was in repair. Best features: Great engine, front seats, overall visibility. Worst features: Overboosted steering, all controls thru the touchscreen. Our Mazda CX30 Turbo is a much better drive.

I’m surprised Mini is still in business.
