The Centa 45 Strafe - Hardest TAS Jump Built in Minecraft

Way to go on a whole other level. Took me about 10 hours to find, build and record. Thanks to aeiou08 for the thumbnail.

Q: Why are so many 45 strafes needed to make the jump?
A: Each 45 strafe adds a bit of momentum that carries over to the final jump, and each one matters.

Q: Why is the jump possible by so little?
A: The first 45 strafe barely adds any distance in the end, because of how many more 45s are after it. I had to adjust the structure of the momentum so that this distance decides if I make the jump or not.

Q: Why is ice and the trapdoor ceiling used?
A: As time goes by, the extra momentum from 45 strafes diminishes due to drag(This is similar to why the 6 block jump isn't possible normally). Ice has less drag than normal blocks, and the ceiling reduces the time between 45 strafes. Without ice and ceilings, the most possible 45 strafes would be around 45 before it's too low for the code to recognize as a double.

Q: Is it possible to have more? Why 100?
A: Yes! I used exactly 100 45 strafes because it was cooler. The limit could be any where to around 200 with blue ice.

blocks, each block = 1 meter, therefore this is possible by 9.5 picometers. The diameter of a single DNA double helix is 2, 000 picometers. The size of a hydrogen atom is about 37 picometers, so a hydrogen atom is larger by 3.89x

wow, that's pretty ironic because i did this jump 89 times in a row while solving a 18x18 rubik's cube with my left toe while being the president of the whole world.

0:37 This is impossible due to the way movements are calculated. I can't give a full explanation but just a sidenote. :)

just incase you dont know how hard this is, a 5 block jump is 2.1 billion times easier than this. so, the hardest jump ever verified with no tas. the glass pane jump, is 53 million times easier than this monster.
