I can barely type these words. I have been waiting for this song since The Pacific Amphitheater show in SoCal back in 2016. This is a bold statement to make, but I truly believe this song is his best yet. Better than “Wanted” and “I Want Crazy” combined. To say that this man is a talent would be a criminal understatement. Hunter’s lyrics and composition are not just a spark... they are a ray of light. Mr. Hayes, it was a blessing beyond belief when you brought me up on stage to sing a duet with you back at The OC Fair in 2018. I don't think it's a coincidence that this song was released today (10/22). Today is my father's birthday and he passed away about a year and a half ago to covid. This song is so much of what I feel every day. Hunter! You genius! The scene where you say “as i watch our dreams collide” and then you’re watching a memory reel basically in the warehouse and her swing looks so much like a dream catcher.. i meannnn the creativity there. Wow. And all the emotion you display in every scene as well without even saying anything really paints all the loud emotions you hear in the song but are all very silent moments in the video itself- both the video and song reflect each other so well and really overlap along side each other so perfectly.
