The secret to that transient that makes a hardbass donk is a 3rd FM oscillator (sine wave +2 octave) with an almost instant envelope.

Alternatively, I found that Sinefold distortion works just as well as the former as long as the envelope is only decaying fast enough to make a click.

I have made some good ones on toxic biohazard, industrial synth I think, added a bit of distortion, got rid of the delay, a few other alterations and shrunk it to 1/8 seconds beats - I only have fl20 demo version right now still, I will share what I have made as soon as I can get the full program, but that may be awhile yet.
