It's like Kobe would agree with Magic if he is the owner. Players ofc dont want to lose. Getting good rookies is the best thing the Lakers can do before Kobe retires. This is the reward the team give to Kobe. Let him still be Kobe and break a few more milestones. In the meantime, getting some nice rookies for rebuilding.

Some of y'all really need to drop the pride. I'm a Laker fan since the early 80s. We're not going nowhere nor beating any strong team. The best thing the Lakers should do is let these guys play and develop. Let Lin get better mentally and physically, get Davis/Hill going better. Let Kobe continue to do what he does...let this season fall..try to get their draft pick back from old man Nash( Who no anti Laker fan never criticize) and focus on next year...We don't need no Melo or nothing like that...even though we need a big..tbh ..draft the best player they can in the draft..if it's a big that's left then grab him.

The Suns own a protected 1 pick of the Lakers so yeah tank and protect it if your missing the playoffs.

Lakers are 7th worst record they got a protected top 5 so their wrong side of this either make a playoff push or lose more lol.

Magic is right keep losing lol.... if the Cavs can get lucky why not Lakers.
