Religious displays of any faith or any kind do not belong in any government building. I know it's not a popular position these days, but we do have a constitutional separation of church and state for a reason.
I will not condemn or deny anyone's right to believe as they choose, but any symbolism or actions of religion should be done outside of the realm of government. If you cannot practice your faith without symbols of that faith (with the exception of that which you wear on your person) then your faith must not be very strong.

Separation of Church and State. The government shouldn't be involved in religion at all. Full stop.

Ignoring the separation of church and state will only lead to problems.

Religion and politics... world's biggest problem

If a religious faith claims to be so strong yet is so fragile it can't stand without trying to destroy others beliefs, it needs to look at itself objectively and see its intolerance and inherent weakness.

I've never seen so many bots in a comment section before...

If they don’t like that statue I’m sure the satanists would agree to take it down if the other religious groups did the same with their crucifix’s.

I remember a time where “separation of church & state” was a primary tenet of this country 🤦🏽‍♀️

I worry less about them. Then I do the Republicans trying to turn this country into 1940's Germany.

guess these people don't really want religious freedom, they want priority and freedom for only THEIR religion.

If you'd have told me as a kid that the Satanists were the rational, kind ones with a pluralistic message who I'd end up agreeing with... and that the Christians were the cruel, insular, exclusionary ones I want to get far away from... I would have thought it was crazy. But here we are.

If it was a Christian cross that was vandalised the people who are now railing in the comments would have approved of the act. I will just say that when you find yourself defending the devil you ought to take a pause and rethink your life.

How refreshing to view an interview with a person who is articulate, well spoken, and has his thoughts presented in the concise, orderly manner

Let's not forget December 25th was chosen to be Jesus' birthday because it was already a major winter festival for the Pagans. The christians then culturally appropriated it.

Every nativity set is fair game. Freedom for me, but not for thee? Nah. Those days are over.

So much for Freedom of Religion. No more offensive than any religion.

Evil - pure and simple. It’s a sad path our country has taken

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” if the Christian fascist insist on allowing religious displays on government buildings, against the constitution, then they have to allow all religious displays. You can always tell a Christian fascist from their level of intolerance towards other religions or beliefs.

Lost it when she brought on the cofounder for the satanic temple like it's some SNL skit 😂
