When I was as young as 4 I used to watch this every morning with my dad before he went to work. Started a life long live of horses and memories of time with my dad that I'll never forget.

I was born 1951, grew up on a dairy farm in Australia, we had horses as well. I had my beloved “Pony” and was riding, even bareback heaps of times, since I was a little kid. So I loved all the horses such as Fury, Flicka, Trigger, Silver and King in National Velvet TV show ♡

Fury was on every Thursday evening at 5pm. I would race home from school and never missed a series. My Mums yard brush became Fury, and I would race around the streets on a brush. lol. We had the cleanest Streets in the UK. lol. Its a joy to watch this so, Thank you for bringing back such happy memories for me.

I was born in ‘62 and I can remember watching this show. I loved it! It was one on my first memories of falling in love with horses. Years later my parents finally consented and my a girl who worked for my mom, gave me riding lessons, I think I was around 12 yrs old. They finally bought me my own horse and eventually we moved to the country. I had a several horses and broke and trained my own horses and a few of the nearby ranchers horses. It was the best time of my life.

I was born in 1951 and watched this show every Saturday along with Flicka, and the Lone Ranger. I liked to watch such impressive horses. Trigger, Fury, Flicka, and Silver were the best. I understand there were two Silvers.

I researched this horse. I read where the horse was so smart he knew when he was on camera and loved to show off when he was being filmed.

My grandparents have that series on VHS tapes because it had a re-run in the 80s.
I LOVED it as a child.

Sadly in Germany it's now offensive and racist to show content with indigene north american people. After the Winnetou scandals in summer 2022 about a children movie.
Nobody asked real Indians, of they are okay with german content where non-indians play indians. Or broadcasting movies and deries were real indians play indians.

Just a ban for everything that has indian-looking people in it.

The social justice warriors spoke on their behalf and showing indians non-indians playing indians is now banned from TV and internet, only allowed in documenaries.
. The same for wearing Indian-costumes at Karneval and Halloween: It's not legally forbidden but schools send emails and letters to the parents that children that wear "problematic costumes" will be send home.

Fashism is on the rise.
