Cheap custom McFarlane Batmobile! #mcfarlanetoys

Products: Krylon Matte Finish Spray + Americana Black Matte Acrylic Paint

First I masked off the windows, front, and back burner. Second I coated the whole body with Matte Spray. Then I hand painted the hood/canopy with with black acrylic. This is because the stock hood comes grey and not black. Lastly I sealed the the acrylic with another coat of matte spray. Remove the tape and it’s finished!

That Is what that thing SHOULD have looked like out of the box. Without the matted finish it looked like a shell you would put over an RC car.

Just a thought, there is Rust-Oleum Specialty lens tint spray paint for clear plastic, and it is translucent. If you decide to darken the windshield. You could spray it from the inside, if you decide to do it.

I’ve never really liked either of the Burton Bat films…but the costume design, prop design, batmobile design and general design of Gotham City are some of the most amazing designs in either film, TV or Comics!
