I've wanted to re-make Discord for quite some time now, if only as a reflection of the kind of progress I've made as a musician since I put the original together.

I released this update to the song on the fifth anniversary of MLP:FiM's first airdate, October 10. This video is going up four years and ten days after the very first version went up in 2011, one week after said video reached 3 million views, and just short of three years and ten months after The Living Tombstone's remix.

"Discord" has been a song that transcends barriers, introducing bronies and MLP fans to eurobeat, making the genre accessible to those who otherwise wouldn't have heard it, sprinkling some variety into an otherwise rigid genre, and even having a few eurobeat fans ask what the fuss about technicolor horses is all about. Who would've thought that a single song, a follow-up to "Luna" and referential piece to "Speed Man" by Dave Simon, would spark such a reaction?

You've all been the very best fans a musician could ask for, and I'm glad to finally reward your patience.

The original Discord has always been my favorite song to come from the fandom by far! And that has yet to change even after all these years. It's very interesting to hear a different take on the song 4 years later. From the bottom of my heart thank you so much for creating this song!

I know it's a long shot, but do you think you'd ever go back and make eurobeat versions of some of the older songs from the show that you skipped over? I always looked forward to that every time.
