Back in the day, older adults always seemed to have these sayings, which were considered by some as words of wisdom, such as a closed mouth don't get fed, a hard head makes a soft behind, there's it takes a fool to know one, don't look a gift horse in the mouth, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink, a fool and his money will always part, I can rattle off a few more however the post by Sounds of Blackness kinda sorta falls into this category. if I had a dollar for every time I heard someone say everything will be alright I'd be rich, when I hear this statement now compared to back then I have a different viewpoint. Everything will be okay no matter what happens, we are one. Faith and belief are essential elements for life experiences and allow us to gain knowledge and wisdom by going through those experiences.
