Softer music (as a HEAVY music fan) has always been very powerful in my mind. I struggle with quite a bit of mental illness, but a handful of songs every year get added into my brain's nostalgia playlist. It's the kind of thing that immediately brings me back to not only a period, but an exact moment with a precise sensational, mental feeling. This song--along with "Wait"--are the most intense examples I've ever come across. So much depressing beauty and it came into my life during a very bad time. This song will always have a substantial impact on my mind. It is both difficult and serene. Knuckle Puck is insanely talented, especially poetically speaking.

@nachi nathan An example of a conduit is basically something that connects one thing to another, like a water pipe or electricity cable or a medium to transmit information. It also has meaning in the "spiritual" world as well like some people have mentioned elsewhere where a medium can use himself as a conduit to communicate with ghosts or sprits. The meaning in this song is quite vague and it's open to interpretation. The "character" in the song has said he's chalked his problems up to cognitive dissonance which suggests he's finding it hard to come to terms with something, someone or even himself and his own beliefs, so perhaps maybe he's struggling to create a "conduit" between his own mind and the outside world to communicate. That's my take on the song. Whatever it is, it's my favourite Knuckle Puck song.

My favorite in the album. I like the old ones better and this one resemble them, "Untitled" in particular. That doesn't necessarily mean I don't like this album tho. I walked for hours listening "Gone" on repeat.
