Congrats on the new car! The 2023 LE now has the same 2.0 Dynamic Force engine that used to only be available on the SE and XSE models. It's much more efficient and a lot more powerful than the old 1.8 that it replaced. Plus the LE also gets the same unique CVT with the first gear launch gear. It's definitely a win-win.

You should take several selfies so that in 30 years or a million miles from now, you can do a before and after

Crazy how your Toyota Corolla has a Lexus engine and a Lexus transmission!! Lexus UX 200 has had the same 2 liter engine and CVT with physical first gear for the past 5 years! What's even more impressive is that the Lexus UX 200 is about 400 pounds heavier than your Corolla LE! So your Corolla is faster than the Lexus! Congrats on buying a truly amazing car!

I took delivery of the Corolla LE hybrid AWD about 5 weeks ago. Sill less than 500 miles on the odometer, and getting around 45 mpg, mostly city driving. I expect better mileage when the winter is over and I don't need the cabin heat. I have had some issues with the smart key door locks, and the Android Auto system. Sometimes I can't seem to unlock the rear door by holding the front door handle, and once even the unlock button for the door didn't operate the read door locks. Also, twice the Android Auto connection 'timed out' and I had to pull over and re-establish it, or just operate the phone GPS 'naked'. The car drives quite well, however. I[ve had occasion to use the adaptive cruise control, and also noticed that the blind spot warning works well. Car has enough acceleration to merge onto the interstate, and engine/transmission noise is NOT noticeable, as some have complained about.

Interior looks nice. 50 mpg is insanely good! Steering wheel being offset happened to me on my 2022 Toyota too. Unfortunately, my local toyota dealership said I couldn’t have it fixed for free. I drove it for 6 months before a new manager said that’s not correct and that the steering wheel and alignment is under warranty for 12 months or 12k miles. I would never take it there again if I lived somewhere else.

I have been watching many reviews on corolla 2023 lately. This was althogether best video. Driving home new car, recording video and talking at same moment is the great skill. I have been driving corollla from last 12 years, and booked 2024 LE model only because of new engine and all safey features. Which is more powerful compare to previous model

Good video. When I bought my 2005 Pontiac Vibe, I had the same thing with the steering wheel (they were able to re-center it). Would be nice to see another video with driver information system and the fuel economy (panoramic view). I think you did the right thing waiting for the 2023 model.

I did the same thing. The dealer I got it from was three hours away. Only one that has the trim I wanted.

I'm amazed at how low the engine is revving. It's barely above idle at 40mph. The 50mpg probably is a few MPGs off from reality. My 2018 Elantra would average 50mpg according to the computer at 55mph, but in reality is was several MPG lower. Still super efficient though. I had a 2020 Corolla rental and I couldn't stand the lane keep assist. It constantly ping-ponged the car between the lines if I didn't maintain dead center in the lane. It drove me nuts on my long highway trips. It was otherwise a great travel car though. Comfortable, smooth, and quiet. Economy cars have come a LONG way in the last 30yrs. How do you feel about the CVT with the 1st gear? I live in the city, so I wonder if I'd hate this CVT with all of the stop and go and traffic I do daily if it's constantly hopping in and out of that first gear.

I've heard sometimes they strap these cars down so tight during transport that it tweaks the alignment.

Congratulations on the new car, I bought the 2022 Corolla LE. Probably should’ve waited on the 2023 model but I’m thankful to have a new car, I upgraded from a 2013 Honda Civic. You said it’s got wireless apple car play? That’s super convenient!

Check your tire pressures. Don't assume.
