Y father spoke of string waling. One thing i was unable to learn from my father before he passed. Hopefully he is drinking mead with Odin. Can or are you able to help with understanding how to string walk for distance. Let alone where to set my draw length.

take a look at the skeletons of those archers, they were built wonky over decades of archery. may want to practice ambidextrously.

No English warbow has ever been demonstrated to get to 180J. Something isn't right about your numbers. Even Joe Gibbs with his 180 lbs warbow only managed 209 fps with a 63g livery arrow. That is around 130 Joules. For you to reach 180 Joules at 197 fps, your arrow would need to weigh 100 grams or 1500 grains. You would need 40% more kinetic energy than Joe Gibbs with his 180 lbs bow demonstrated.
