The Tivo Stream 4K streaming stick is a handy streaming device from Tivo. Once known for their DVRs, the Stream 4K is Tivo’s response to the Amazon Fire Stick or Roku stick.

Despite it being their first entrant in the space, the Tivo streaming device stands up pretty well against the other players.

Always enjoy your helpful videos. Just left YouTube Tv and signed up with Sling Blue do to price. I do have a TiVo streaming device and was disappointed that, for some reason Sling is no longer integrated. I was wondering if you had any news of way Sling has been removed and any future plans by TiVo to add it back. Thank you again for ALL your informative videos.

I agree that it's worth the price, but I have yet to see a device that I like better than my ROKU Ultra.
The only one I MIGHT consider is the Invidia Shield, but it seems to be more complicated to setup and use.
Probably just showing my age. :)

The biggest issue I had with the TiVo Stream 4k was the power brick. It apparently doesn't consistently provide adequate amperage, potentially causing boot loops. If you replace it with a decent USB micro-B phone/tablet charger, the situation improves significantly. I replaced it with a Samsung phone charger I had lying around. I haven't had boot loops since. I also disabled Sleep mode, just in case this was also contributing to the problem.

I have this device, it's actually good, I just don't like the fact of signing in to to services, kind of suck🤔

I found it at my local Walmart for only $15

They had this for sale at Walmart for only $5.00. I can't recommend it because many of the bugs they had at the start haven't been fixed.

The thing I don’t like the about the TiVo device or the Chromecast device is that they are dongles. Plugging that directly into an HDMI port on your TV over time can create stress on the port because of the weight of the device. Also the weight of the power cord. If I were to get one of these two devices I would get an HDMI hub, plug that into the TV. And then plug the Chromecast or TiVo into the hub. This also applies to the fire sticks and the Roku streaming sticks.
