Saw VH twice, '80 Invasion, '81 Fair Warning the night I graduated in Louisville, Ky. My buddy and I got our diploma's took a couple of photo's with the folk's, then sprinted next door to Freedom Hall to get there just as they were coming on. May 22, 1981. Going on 40 years now. Where has time gone? Oh, yes they burned the place down that night. R.I.P Eddie....

Saw them at the Texas Jam in 1978 a couple of months after Van Halen released "Running with the Devil"...nobody knew who they were, but they rocked the Cotton Bowl, that day was the first time Eddie Van Halen played "Eruption" to that big of a crowd...what a great time to be a teenager 70's thru

Was not there, but wow when the talked about green blotter, I was at a show this dude comes up to the mic he says dont eat the Blue Flats. Lol me and my friend had just ate 2 hits each so we washed it down with elitric cool aid. my friend ended up in the Medic tent. Tom are you still alive? Bad shit I was tripping for a few days. Both of us our guts hurt Bad. The medic guys was passing out some kind of tea, helped my guts. Tom never was the same. So we starting eating Window Pan, 4 way type. Sometimes I love YOU TUBE!!!! Well Van Halen was not a hair band although hair bands were excellent it's just a name that journalist came out with for the Bands. I have seen Van Halen on multiple occasions I have never seen them wear makeup. So the guy who said that must have been pretty high

That day I made 500 bucks I was on like 10 hits of acid and I was breaking the entrance bands in half and the gate in the back was accepting pieces because they were running out of hand armbands to go to your car for medication it was one of the greatest days of my life I said I would go every year and I never win again
