Good luck trying to find award space on any of the mentioned routes. Disappointment ranges from mixed cabinets awards with business class to the first hub within one hour flight or dynamic pricing at exorbitant amount of points if Air Canada has flights to the destination

I work part-time for Air Canada, and the perks for flying are insane. Yes, it is standby, but if you fly in the middle of the week in the morning, 95% of the time, I get signature class for 300 bucks round trip.

with eva flights yvr-tpe (or anywhere in asia), theres always seems to be 1 seat business per flight 360 days in advance.

yeah I agree with most comments here, every AC flight on aeroplan is dynamically priced to the moon. with partner arlines are either not avialable or ghost availabilites at this point. I have been looking for a toronto to taipei/tokyo/doha/riyadh/etc on a partner airline and have been coming up with 0 availability for 2 ppl.

Cool story. We know all this. The hard part is actually finding the award availability at the lowest redemption. And good luck finding a return flight as well. I’m 100% flexible with my time and it’s still very difficult to snag a decent flight.

I would very much love to go on Emirates and Etihad but, due to the recent changes that happened in Aeroplan making the price to fly them even more dynamic (same with United, Canadian North, etc), I’m now gonna avoid flying them at all costs until I see that they have a great redemption at the level they were at before the change. I don’t support dynamic award ticket pricing on international tickets and am not gonna start anytime soon.

What would be best way to book with Partner's airline using Aeroplan points? Is it better to call Aeroplan or using their website?

Hi I’m looking for a flight from YVR or a positioning flight to KUL in May 2025. What’s the best way to check availability? Seats aero premium?

I was recently able to book Tokyo to JFK class one way for 100k points about a year out.

I'm wondering if you would know when it would be best to fly to Manila (MNL) from Montreal (YUL) business class? How many points roughly. I understand if this is a hard question to answer.

I’m pretty sure JFK-SIN (or vice versa) costs only 87.5K (business lowest) or 103.5K (business flexible) point, and not 115K points. 7:02

Hi everyone. New to this channel and its probably been asked a million times already but how do I book a flight using my Aeroplan points with a partner airline? Do I use the partner airline directly and use my points or do I still use AC and select a flight date/time where only the partner airline is available. TIA

Where do you find the 50k seats on ANA to TYO?
I have looked from now till next November and cant find anything under 175k in points. Cant even find ANA from YVR. Thank you for your help.

I’m actually disappointed that I got Aeroplan cc because I still can’t find any good seats mentioned in this video

It's almost impossible to book business on set points. I usually see them around 300k points.

It may take a while or some work but you can actually find some flights as described in the video. i got a very sick Toronto to Singapore round trip with both one air canada and a star alliance partner, totalling 4 flights, 23 hours business and 21 hours economy. The business portions in cash were over 15K CAD. So just keep looking. You may find what you seek when you least expect it. And itll sure be memorable once you achieve it. Looking forward to make something similar happen again.

I've been shopping many of those routes for a departure in 4 months and found NOTHING close to the redemption that are mentioned in this video.

This video in only showing the lower bracket of the price...which is only accessible is you redeem a year in advance
