Mixing Distorted Rhythm Guitars - ABentleyMusic Tutorial

Here's another tutorial discussing my approach to dialing in rock/metal rhythm guitars in a professional mix context. I want to show my process on constructing tones as well as share some tips that will hopefully shed some light on how tones fit in a mix. Although I use the AxeFX in this video, I emphasize that these principles apply to any amp modeling program or even a real life amp & cab.

Was checking out some GetGood drum videos and somehow stumbled upon your profile, great vids bro. Perfect timing as well, getting back into mixing metal and these videos are great, I'll have to go back and pick them apart a bit more but appreciate it! Just for you personally would you chuck any compression or anything after your EQ/Chain? Keeping it simple is something I really struggle with and my DAW guitar bus is constantly overloaded searching for that perfect tone haha.. Anyway, keep it up. I look forward to more man, helps out alot for newbs like us!

Can you explain how to route you'r Axefx2 to you'r computer and to your monitor ? And the buttons in the Axefx2 for direct recording (no reamping) .
My records sound sucks...
