Thank you Luca! It's nice to see someone else appreciate the JC distortion! Most people hate on that feature, but I feel it works great for gaze! I have a rare old school JC-120H (head version) that I run through a 4x12 and love it! They are fantastic amps...Keep on Gazing!

After 5 years I finally found a Jc-120. When I was about 13 my local shop had a vintage one. It was super beat up and beautiful, but $550. I played it with a Jazzmaster and my mind was blown. At 13 I couldn't afford it at all. Now 5 years later and I just found one for $300! Needless to say I'm really excited.

A very happy owner of two JC-120 gems... oh and a lil' hidden secret on JC-120 models. Take a good patch cable plugging it into the High input of channel 1 and also the High input of channel 2 and plugging the guitar into the Low input of channel 2 and hear that amp become a totally different beast as you are now linking both channels together creating a totally different sonic 3D tonality and making your amp hotrodded with nothing more than a patch cable❗🤘😁

Yes! You’ve got that sweet low end now that the 40 lacks. Very nice. I used to get my JC off the floor too and it sounded even better (just used a chair).

Thanks for this video. In your DAW, do you record both mics (one on each speaker) and blend them in the same channel, or do you pan each mic to opposite channels?

Ex. Mic 1 & 2 > Left Channel and Mic 1 & 2 > Right Channel (using two takes) vs. Mic 1 > Left Channel and Mic 2 > Right Channel (using one take).
