“It's great to see…” Tharoor asks Congress to acknowledge Centre’s efforts to internationalise Yoga

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor once again lauds Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Centre’s efforts. This time, Tharoor praised the PMO and Ministry of External Affairs for their efforts for International Yoga Day. PM Modi led the Yoga Day event at UN headquarters in New York on International Yoga Day. The event set the Guinness World Record, as people from 135 different nationalities performed Yoga together. Notably, his praise came as a reply to his party’s tweet, which credited India’s first PM JL Nehru for popularizing Yoga.

In congress, leaders like Shashi Tharoor is very rare and not taken care of. Although I'm critic of congress, but Shashi Tharoor has proved it that being opponent doesn't mean opposing the government in all aspect. If government is doing something good in the good interest of the country, opponents should also praise them and support the government.
