This one just doesn’t get old. Just stunning, at every musical level. Genius.

Such an amazing show. Drove 11 hours to get there. Hell of a night. Metallica is the only band my bro and I would ever do that kind of trip for.

Metallica have been going for 37 years now. The equivalent of the Rolling Stones in 1999. In my opinion, Metallica sound 100 times better in 2018 than The Stones did in 1999!

Best concert of my life! Thank you Metallica for coming to buffalo again! My dad was telling stories how his first concert was in 1988 or 89 in buffalo at the old rich stadium I believe.

One of their most underrated songs imo. I think it’s secretly one of their best

"Leper Messiah"

Spineless from the start, sucked into the part
Circus comes to town, you play the lead clown
Please, please
Spreading his disease, living by his story
Knees, knees
Falling to your knees, suffer for his glory
You will

Time for lust, time for lie
Time to kiss your life goodbye
Send me money, send me green
Heaven you will meet
Make a contribution
And you'll get the better seat
Bow to Leper Messiah

Marvel at his tricks, need your Sunday fix
Blind devotion came, rotting your brain
Chain, chain
Join the endless chain
Taken by his glamour
Fame, Fame
Infection is the game, stinking drunk with power
We see

Time for lust, time for lie
Time to kiss your life goodbye
Send me money, send me green
Heaven you will meet
Make a contribution
And you'll get the better seat
Bow to Leper Messiah

Witchery, weakening
Sees the sheep are gathering
Set the trap, hypnotize
Now you follow

Time for lust, time for lie
Time to kiss your life goodbye
Send me money, send me green
Heaven you will meet
Make a contribution
And you'll get the better seat

Lie
Lie
Lie
Lie
Lie
Lie
Lie
Lie

Never really mentioned as one of their “heaviest” songs, but it should be right up there for sure. That main riff……

Papa Het with Military cameo ESP, It's depicts the song clearly, really love the riff of this song. They should play more old stuff!

Jesus, that double bass drum fill and that down picking at 3:40

James almost forgot to sing that same verse he missed last time lol. When he played it when the song was already done was hilarious

so fuck me, i once used to believe Metallica was an over rated band, i’m all about this music and this band proved me wrong, i remember just liking master, battery, seek, no remorse at one point, then my father recommended black and ride, and holy fuck i was blown away, i’m in a band myself and what an influence they have made, i don’t know why people talk bad about james voice, he has always sound good, i love all their bassists rip cliff, lars is such a cool guy, doesn’t mess up much anymore (it happens) kirk is guitar god, once i found the other songs on kill and puppets i became a die hard fan, justice is such a good record, load and reload were aight, st anger was just interesting, what great musicians and such a great live act, i’m glad i was able to expand my taste even more.. forgive me for my sin...
