Ford Mustang - ALTERNATOR FUSE LOCATION (2010 - 2014)

Battery light ON on Ford Mustang or battery not getting charged while you are driving? Suspecting alternator failed? Make sure to check the fuse before you decide to replace the alternator ( 2010 | 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | V6 | GT | SHELBY | COUPE | CONVERTIBLE ).

Alternator fuse is located in the main fuse box which is under the front hood. You want to check Fuse #17 (10A).

If fuse is good test the alternator using multimeter and check wiring / electrical connections. Most likely you will have to replace the alternator.
