Love this art for Absolute Wonder Woman as the level detail is so cool to look at. I especially really liked how Absolute Wonder Woman helps out Prometheus in this issue and show how she still holds a lot of compassion for others as the normal Wonder Woman would, even though this takes on her was raised in Hell.

I like how Hades has shifted in Pop Culture along with how people have viewed death in general. He went from being the villain to just a flawed man that loves his wife. It's the same with death with it becoming viewed more and more like something that is okay

I want to take a moment to praise absolute Wonder woman's design.
I never understood her appeal before or knew that her character was supposed to have ties to greek mythology at all (can you really blame me when she was running around with blue bottoms with white stars on them and a red top?) But now she *looks* inspired! Intriguing! She's beautiful but also dangerous and actually looks like a ancient warrior. This version alone turned my relationship with Diana from indifference to absolute love.

I have a feeling the first runs of Absolute are going to be awesome and get some legitimate fans. It feels like the DC writers are really getting that space to reinvent and modernize the characters.

When characters are asked to strip their weapons, it either a weapon or two, or a comical amount of weapons. Personally, I'm afraid of the one who's never armed... it may be the first and last thing you notice about them.

I do love when they depict Hades as being a good person who just doesn't want to deal with all of the Olympian drama and bullshit, He knows the problems that come with dealing with his younger brother And just wants to rule his kingdom Relatively peacefully
