A week ago at 28 years old. My son got an original rubix cube from his grandpa and asked me to solve it so I looked up j perms beginners 10 min video. I practiced a couple scrambles every day after work and now I can pick it up and solve it in under 3 minutes and just ordered a speed cube.

I started cubing at age 6 or 7. I saw a random Rubik’s cube on my shelf and then do a few moves. The next day I searched up the solution for a Rubik’s cube. I then practiced 2 times a day until it becomes muscle memory. On my 7th birthday my mom bought me a set of Rubik’s cube. “I saw you were enjoying playing those. That’s why I bought this!” She said. I was surprised and happy at the same time. I then enjoy solving it even more. Today I’m still very enjoying solving Rubik’s cube as my career.

Started this year, 11 years old. I learned it in an hour and a half, and memorized all the algs in like 3-4 weeks. My friends were my inspiration, and then this channel started to grow more.

2 weeks ago, I was 17 and I said "if I don't learn how to build the cube before Friday (my 18th birthday) I will have failed", I did it, and now I love this world of cubes

I started at age 16 and am currently 18. It took me only a few days to fully memories the beginner method and then a few months latter I learned f2l. Sadly I'm still averaging around 40 second solves

I'm 15 now, I used to average sub 30 when i was 11-12 years old. However, I first solved a rubik's cube when I was 7 or 8. I remember that moment of being so close, doing the last steps slowly and finally solving it. I kinda gave up on it but I regularly go back to my cube and for now I know f2l, learning CFOP and have an average of 1 min.

I immediately started timing myself after I learned the beginner’s method. I was 13 at the time and was ecstatic to finally be able to solve a rubik’s cube. It’s been a year now, and I am currently averaging around sub 20-25.
