Personally, I would keep the CSL bootlid clean and not mount anything on it. If you really want to mount that wing then reinstall the original bootlid and mount the wing on that. That is my input regarding this mod.

Always loved the OEM plus subtle look of your car. Sad to see it go… this is drastic but, can’t wait to see where you go with this version.

Nice wing man. How much did you pay? Just curious. I got a Megan racing carbon wing for my e46 before the pandemic started.

How wide is the wing? Say 12” or so? Remember to balance your aero if you want to keep your car balanced too. The rules pretty easy. BMW’s are 50/50 weight distribution so adding a big wing means you need to add equal front aero otherwise you car will be unbalanced.

Make sure to also test (safely) some highway speeds. You may find more drag than you want with a wing and thus lose more fuel eco.

Me personally I like the Turner motorsports CSL type carbon fiber it's almost like a "duck bill“. But if I were to get wing to would have to be a Voltex nice choice bro. I can't wait to see you install it. 🤙
