Making my way through your backlog and I can’t help but get upset that your videos are ending! Thank you for sharing such informative and entertaining content from a fellow Chicagoan!

Hope things are good in the OYR yard. This is probably the most important channel on the net. Nothing touches sustainability like your content. It is with such generously that you put you expertise and experience out there. I think I'll go get myself a shirt..

I followed your advice this winter of leaves on the garden beds.. When I planted my potatoes this year in a section of the garden, I had earthworms under the leaves. First time EVER in the 10 years I've had a garden there, that I've had earthworms! My soil is so much looser after just one year of the leaves, and I have beneficial earthworms. I've only turned the soil once so far, and by next year may not have to turn it at all. Thanks for this channel!

I get unreasonably excited every time you post a new video. I just harvested some Hungarian Pink Winter lettuce myself yesterday that I overwintered. First EVER lettuce that I've managed to overwinter, and it was just under a clear plastic container. Thanks for the recommendation!

Just got mine in as I was waiting on a tabletop bed for my patio, just planted cucumbers/beans/beets, transplanted peppers and one eggplant and the last 2 tomatoes, the rest are in pots on the other side.
