Pokkén Fighters = New Wii U Pokémon Fighting Game?

For today's quick news post, we learn from Siliconera that Pokémon has trademarks matching what we saw in the brief HD Pokémon game footage from last week. Could a Pokémon Fighting Game be coming?

How about EVERY Pok'emon?  Wireless Link to X or Y, upload your BOXES, pick your favorite ones (LEVEL 100s!!!), move their attack set to button combos, and BAM!  Sky Uppercut gets immediately countered with Seismic Toss.

I can think of something that never has been given to use, despite all the asking.

A full length pokemon adventure on a console, that has PROPER pokemon catching. no snag machine bullshit. I would personally, like to see RBGY remade on wii U, fullly remodeled and with internet compatibility. letting friends be invited to the game and actually walk around IN your game world. as it would be a gen one inspired game, only gen 1 and their mega evos would appear in the game, but after beating the game, you would unlock the ability to use/transfer pkmn from X and Y.

With the size of console games you could even make it so you can store your pokemon from one region, and go the another region, and start fresh there, and become a true pokemon master by actually scouring the whole pokemon world for pokemon and collecting all 8 badges from every region, in one game, instead of in many different ones.

Also with that fighting tournament poster and energy symbol it also shows a wigglytuff going against another pokemon that you cant see, but that means that mot only fighting type pokemon are going to be in this game

I would really, REALLY like to see Scrafty in the fighting game. He's Dark/Fighting, which presents opportunities for some neat special moves, and if they have weight classes or if the speed and weight of characters are dependent on size, he could be a light or middle-weight character that still packs the regular wallop of the larger fighting types. Plus, he's one of my favorite overall Pokemon, and I'd just really love to see him get some more attention.

There are about 25ish fully-evolved fighting types. With a bit slimming down (taking out legendaries or leaving in a few) they could have a good roster for all of the fighting type pokemon!

My favorite Pokemon was already shown, Blaziken is obviously a great fighter with moves like Close Combat and Sky Uppercut. Maybe they'll include a move like Flame Wheel/Blast also.

I'd so be down for a Pokemon Fighting game with just fighting types as the roster. Now there's so many varieties to choose from anyway; hope Poliwrath, Mewtwo X, Heracross, Breloom, Chesnaught, and even the Terra Trio make the cut if it is one

What about the pokemon fighting game including pokemon like Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Regigigas, Gallade, Mewtwo, Exploud, Swampert, Sceptile, Electivire Magmortar? Those would make pretty good fighters, don't you think?

I hope it wouldn't just be limited to fighting types, as other types like Psychic and Electric could have some really interesting ways of using their moves in combos (e.g Alakazam would make a pretty good Ermac - style character)

Maybe Mewtwo as a final boss or something since Physic Pok'emon are strong against fighting, while Mewtwo also being able to use Fighting-Type moves as well... That or make him a power based character.
