The Anbernic RG40XXV seems to take everything Anbernic has learned over the last 10 months and craft it into a nearly perfect budget handheld. This retro gaming console is SO CLOSE to being my budget retro handheld pick of 2024, but there are one and a half things that hold it back.

This was my first anbernic console, i was so impressed i ordered another one as a backup and a rg406v about a week later. I put knulli on it and put my own roms on with a 2 sd card setup, use it for snes, megadrive, gba, dremcast, mame, fbneo use it mainly for 2d stuff but it still amazes me playing psp ridge racer on it for the price. Was excited for rg557 but not anymore, more interested in seeing what they do with the xx line and how they follow up the 406v, would definitely pick up a 407v or h and a 45xxv

Great video. I like rhe size of this from what i can tell....is this the vertical handheld closest in size to the original Gameboy? That's what I want--one as close to the OG size as I can get. Thank you

Hey man great video man. I see that you playing Mario brother on and alot more I have the RG40xxv man they have wack game no Mario brother, donkeycon, or Def jam. I got this thinking they will have them but they have wack games.. can you copy one for me ill pay you please 🙏 going on a long trip and I dont want to play the games that brought with this device RG40XXV please help me out which one should I get with those games ? Or I'll pay you if you do a copy for me please. 🙏
