Last week, I'd have been sure, he was the best man for the job.
This week, I'm wondering whether this chap was the best man for the job, or did he get it because the field running for 39sqn wing commander was reduced by 95% and better candidates were passed over in favour of his ethnicity.
We'll never know now will we...
BTW, anyone on the orificers mess top table asked him how he feels about it?

Airoplane magazine August 2011 issue there was a six page history about how they did on the North West Frontier in the 1930s ever seen then i'v been looking for books and memorabilia about them there is a great book called the Winged bomber the history of 39 Squadron from 1986 i also have a very rare 1929 Christmas card from Leading aircraft man Toby Hayman but this year for there one year since disbanding i want to make either a history of the Squadron or a video just about the north west Frontier campaign and it will be my tribute the best Squadron in the Royal Air Force

An excellent presentation. A Wing Commander on his way up.

In light of recent developments in RAF recruitment, there appears to be a lot of tokenism in their media releases. Equal opportunity, not equal outcome please.
