ORE EXCAVATION MOD UPDATE - MINECRAFT 1.16.5 (MOD SHOWCASE)

I cant find a tutorial anywhere which tells me how to make custom stairs its annoying me like I want to make a 3x3 stairs down but no one shows how to make that kind of custom shape

I think most modders are waiting till 1.18 atm so sadly no vein miner for me on 1.17

I hate that this mod destroys every tool I use between 1-5 uses. Enchanted or otherwise. I don't know why it does that, and I can't stop it from doing so.

Hey I'm trying the OreExcavator mod in Project ozone 3 single-player.

Changed the hotkey for 'excavate' to a unused key but it just won't work for me, I'm holding the key while chopping down trees but it's not working.

Is there anything I'm missing/any fix you suggest?
