Dogs always welcome you home. When our boy died we both decided within 2 days that we would have to get another doggy as soon as we could. We said entering the house was so empty. No one to greet you. Come rain or shine they are always there.

The way they greeted "papa" is identical to my little Toto after me returning home from a month in hospital. Those kisses and love is something that makes a heart bubble over w/ joy! I'm loving those sweet little guys.

Aww so lovely. Theres no welcome like a doggie welcome. I had to leave my girlie in the hospital for 8 days. Now she has separation anxiety and hates me leaving the house. 😢 Glad daddy is home safely.

Well, I had two beautiful, adored cat fur babies. They greeted me & my brother with love when we came home. Not as exuberantly as the dogs, though. My last cat,
Sophie always roused herself from resting in bed to do her job of greeting us at the front door when we came home, even during the last months of her life when she was in pain dieing from cancer of the jaw.
