For anyone that doesn't know, these are storm shingles that contain SBS. Atlas makes them and Owen's Corning makes them. They are very pliable, hail resistant and hold granules well. Typical lifespan on these is 30 years versus your standard 20-year shingle. They cost about $15 more a bundle but are well worth it if you can afford it.

OC furation flex, has the same polymerized rubber that gives it flexibility amd impact resistance, just the nails dont pull through the shingle matt.

That's a malarkey shingle, easily can tell cause that huge double part at the top plus wide nail line and that black plastic top part. Not my favorite brand tbh, also that Is bad for the shingle called spider webbing can't see it but it cracks, also nail a frozen shingle you'll see the spider webbing easily.

Not the best, they weld themselves together and cannot be taken apart to repair any damage, also the fabric nailing strip is a pain to cut thru

Malarkey look awful though. Aesthetics alone is the reason not to use them. The colors are awful, zero definition, look thin and blah.
