Protect Your Sneakers - Sole Shields, Crease Protector & Repellent

Today we’re going to touch on three RESHOEVN8R products that are sure to keep your sneakers looking DS at all times, Sole Shields, Crease Protectors, and Water + Stain Repellent.

Jonny is going to be working on the Travis Scott Air Jordan 6 to demonstrate each of these three products. If you’re gonna shell out the big bucks for a shoe like the Travis Scott Jordan 6, you better invest in protecting it with RESHOEVN8R sneaker care products.

The longest and most laborious of the protection measures is the Sole Shields, but even those aren’t hard to apply. To properly apply RESHOEVN8R Sole Shields to your kicks you’re going to need a pair of scissors, a marker (preferably dry erase), and a heat gun.

Use the included alcohol prep pads to wipe down the sole of your shoe, and then place it in the center of the Sole Shield, with the traction side down. Take the dry erase marker and trace an outline of your sneaker, before cutting it out to size.

Peel off the backing and use some pressure to apply the Sole Shield directly onto the outsole of your shoe. Start from the middle and work towards the outsides as you apply the Sole Shield so that you can remove any air bubbles that may be present.

Once you have the Sole Shield lined up correctly, use your heat gun to activate the adhesive and continue to mold the Sole Shield to the outsole. Once you’re done with this process, you’re ready to rock.

The last thing to do is apply RESHOEVN8R Water + Stain Repellent. If you’re going to go through all of that work to protect the outsole and toe of your sneakers, it’s a good idea to protect the precious materials on the upper.

The Travis Scott Air Jordan 6 is made primarily of suede, which is a great example of the importance of using Water + Stain Repellent. Suede is easily damaged by liquids, making it vulnerable to all sorts of casualties. Luckily, Water + Stain Repellent is extremely effective and easy to apply.

Take the shoe outside and apply a few light coats of Water + Stain Repellent across the entire upper. The coat should last for 3-6 weeks before you need to reapply. It’s also a good idea to reapply the Water + Stain Repellent after each cleaning.

I use this water repellent on my new bookers the grape color way and it discolored / stained the shoes to a darker purple .. I think because I sprayed it too close to the shoe possibly ..? I was wondering if I buy the suede eraser/brush will that work to take off the darkness of the shoe?

i treat my jordans like they are my foot armor. soft crease protector in, check. superfeet insole swap, check, back ankle support, check. shoe protection spray (water-resistant, dirt and grime resistant, basically a "shield" from the elements and other peoples shoe bottoms.) the spray is the most important because it is the only layer of defense against dirty. when you come home, you simple wipe it down with a damp paper towel or cloth and it will look brand new.

also, im thinking also adding shoe/oil protection to my leathe jordan and suede/nubuck oil or what have you protection on mu suede/nubuck jordans.
