Daniel Trevor: 'Can You Reverse Heart Disease?'

Показать описание
Daniel Trevor survived a heart attack.

The experience turned him into a citizen scientist who debunks some common myths about the relationship between heart disease and metabolic health. He shares his first-hand discovery of the harmful effects of what he refers to as the unholy trinity: carbs, sugar, and vegetable oils,

He documented his personal journey of survival, transformation, and self-discovery in the book, The Unholy Trinity. It is perhaps the single-most citation-dense work on the subject yet published, with a whopping 1,200 scientific citations.

Did you know that 74% of doctors are not fully equipped to handle prediabetes and type 2 diabetes? Daniel leads us through his exploration of the medical community's struggle with these common diseases.

He insists that these health battles require more than just medication, it requires a fundamental shift in our lifestyle and diet. He challenges us to challenge the norms, understand the science behind our health decisions, and take control of our own health.

Going deeper, he challenges traditional wisdom around heart health. We touch on the impact of wheat and vegetable oils, while also emphasizing the importance of understanding plaque in our arteries.

Daniel's story illustrates the critical role of the citizen scientist in health and wellness as well as the power of taking control of our own health.

Same thing happened to me last year. I thought I was eating reasonably healthy, and ended up with angina and two stents in my heart. Also thought that doctors knew more than they did. Had to go down the Dr. Google, Dr. YouTube, pubmed, etc. Finally started curing myself and arguing with my doctors on the carnivore diet. Feeling much better now, and my cardiologist said that I’m doing better than most of his other patients, and that I should go on with my life as if I never had anything happen. He didn’t ask how I fixed myself, and wasn’t interested at all. Sigh..

One year ago my husband had a massive heart attack. He has 8 stents. He was on a lot of meds for RA at the time, including monthly chemo infusions & weekly Methotrexate injections. He was slender & active but always had a low HDL. He went carnivore in August & discontinued all meds except Brilinta. He raised his HDL from 31 to 56 & lowered his triglycerides. He only weighs 145 @ 5'10". We are hoping he has chosen the right path.

Great guess speaker. He just had a hard time not talking about the way he filled his book rather than the experience of healing himself.
I love your channel always!❤

Nice to see Daniel has a sense of humor! Thank you Dr. Ovadia for exposing medicine. Im on day 9 of carnivore and loving the results so far. Psoriasis and HS is resolving. I also have been reading "Stay off MY Operating Table" every night. Wish I could pass this book out to every physician I encounter.

I also had CAC that shot up 965 to 1654 in my first year keto. My cardiologist isn't too worried, says I've got chromium pipes: no soft plaque left because it's now solid, and therefore unlikely to rupture or cause a stroke like soft plaques can. In four years low carb high fat, my symptoms have completely changed. No more discomfort with exercise, nasty arrhythmia gone, no more shortness of breath, but increased endurance, muscle mass, and my plant based testosterone was low 200, carnivore testosterone is 883. HDL 89 trigs 51. I'm 73.

I had a bad calcium score on a CT scan so they ran the dye through me and did another one. They told me that I had a 60% blockage in one artery and 40% in another. A week later I had a heart cath done where they went in through my groin and ran a camera all the way up . The doctor came in shaking his head and said that he wasn’t sure what they had seen on the scans, but the inside of my arteries looked good. Go figure. Have you ever heard of this before?

As a Carnivore and a RN I have had a few patients completely reverse DMII, working on a few with known cardiac disease. Best feeling in the world is to see people get back their health. Love your book as well. 🥩

Daniel had great information, he rambles about unimportent information to much instead of giving exact examples. Jack was trying to prompt him many times to give them. But a great informative video!

I was like Daniel. No symptoms, undiagnosed diabetic until I couldn't keep food or liquid down for 8 days. I lost 10 lbs, I wasnt overweight. My A1c was over 10. I was on insulin, mealtime and overnight. I immediately started researching natural things i could do to lower my A1c and dependence on insulin.I cut out all soda, coffee, and tea except green. ALL those shot my blood sugar # up 50-60 points, even if I drank them with no food. I cut out sugar. I replaced sugar with inulin and allulose. I drank roasted dandelion root tea 2 c a day. I found a few supplements that were proven to help. I switched out white bread for high fiber bread. I have always been a cook and baker. I switched out white flours for almond flour, lupin flour, coconut flour. My a1c went from over 10 to 4.9 in 6 months. Then my Endocrinolgist told me that was too low. I also gained 20 lbs because I had been eating the way SHE told me to eat (every 2-3 hrs) . My a1c started creeping up, which was something I was trying to avoid. I found Dr Berry, and Dr Ovadia was mentioned. His book was delivered Thursday, halfway through it already. Looking forward to getting metabolically healthy again..Thank you all for sharing your knowledge. I'll be checking out Daniel's book too.

After seeing my GP for the first time since Carnivore and loosing 60 lbs I had a lot of questions. But all I got was feeling rushed through the meeting because he didn’t have time he wanted / needed to stay on time.
