Homemade 5 gallon bucket fishing boat

In this video I show you how I made a cool fishing boat out of 5 gallon buckets. It's cheap to make and a lot of fun on the water. Get to those hard to reach fishing spots.

What’s your input on making this project so it comes apart easy to fit in a car?

Initially I was wondering how the PVC was attached and reinforced at the center and what stops the buckets from leaking. After seeing the build I think its all good.

Great idea with the buckets, but they could also be why it goes so slow, because the front of the buckets have to 'plow' through the water! I'm sure that the buckets are less expensive, but have you thought of using 12"diameter pvc (if it's available) about 12ft long on each side of the 'boat' replacing the buckets & attaching a 12"diameter 45° angled up 12" long pvc piece to the front (& the back) of the pvc to allow the pvc to 'cut' or 'ride' over the water??

Would this work for extremely shallow water, I mean knee deep water for bowfishing?
