I spent much time in a 'Herald' smalltown newspaper office alot like this one as a child in Penticton, BC. My mother was the bookkeeper and I would often go there after school to catch a ride home throughout the 1960s. Sometimes I would visit the typesetters in the back typing down metal letters to form and print out the pages. My favorite thing was going through the big paper scrap barrel, I was never at a loss for all sorts of paper to draw and doodle on at home, great wads of trimmings in various colours.

Marilyn and little Melissa Plowman worked together again in Monkey Business with Carey and Ginger next year, 1952.

What a beautiful story, I really enjoyed this film! Blake gained some wisdom from MacFarland in the end!
