I told my crush I liked her, and she told me she kind of liked me too. I had my hopes up too much, and I thought she actually liked me back, in a romantic way, but then a year later she tells me she likes me like a little sister. It’s a hard pill to swallow. Every time I remind myself, “She’s not the one for me”, or “She doesn’t love me that way, she only likes you as a close friend”, I just cry like the dramatic crybaby I am. I still like her, but I’m trying to move on. She’s still a very good friend of mine though. Maybe we’ll try and stay in contact more after quarantine
