In recent years, France's northern Pas-de-Calais region has seen a steady stream of illegal immigrants trying to cross the Channel to reach the UK. But most of them have not succeeded. Some have decided to stay in France and seek asylum. It's the case for many Afghans and Pakistanis who now form the Saint-Omer cricket club. The sport is new to France but it's proving a valuable tool to boost dialogue and integration. Our colleagues from France 2 report, with FRANCE 24's Emerald Maxwell.
