I'm sorry Dr. Brown but you're only half right on this 1. You are talking about people who are our personal enemies individually when these psalms are talking about the enemies of God and what they are doing to undo his will and to blasphame openly creating despair amongst the righteous. The righteous children of God who are living according to his will have a right to cry out for Justice and God clearly has anger towards the unrighteous that is provoked by his children's cries. Jesus never defended himself even when they were clearly going to kill him but he vigorously defended his father in the temple and every place that he saw his father's word being blaaphemed. Any wicked leader who is leading innocent people to damnation whether it be a pastor or a president are to be prayed against not for because they're using the power and platform God allowed them to have to force wickedness upon the land bringing a curse that affects the just and robbing God of the glory they owe Him.
