Anwar says he's touched by movie documenting his journey in battling corruption

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said that he felt touched after watching Anwar: The Untold Story – a biopic documenting his journey in battling corruption.

The Prime Minister shared that although the overall dialogue in the movie was not fully accurate, the issues raised were based on true events.

Yes indeed. It's about time the nation celebrated this great Anwar Ibrahim and told the world of the nonsense that he had to go through for fighting corruption. The embarrassment that Anwar, his wife and children had to put up with ALL SO PATIENTLY is remarkable and exemplary of great leadership. Anwar deserves all the praise and publicity and we as a nation should thank ourselves for giving anti corruption a chance by placing Anwar on the seat.

Aku pernah melihat Dan memerhati dia semasa dlm penjara Dan semasa dia membaca buku dlm perpustakaan penjara dimana Aku cuma dibenarkan cuma Hari khamis tetapi anuar setiap Hari akan kesana mbaca buku.
